We believe as our client’s finance team member it is our responsibility to go beyond the traditional “scorekeeper” role of accounting by becoming a contributing member to their leadership team. With our Controller services, clients will not only have the oversight of the accounting function but an experienced team member available to analyze and interpret the financials and develop budgets and forecasts to map out critical metrics as the business progresses through the year.
We help clients who are frustrated because they are spending a lot of time working with their accounting team—they know there are better ways for the department to run but they don’t have the time or expertise on how to improve their current situation. Our services allow them to start to focus on their business—not on their books.
Sometimes clients call us when they have had a critical finance or accounting employee leave and they need immediate assistance to manage the accounting function. Other times clients call us when they have reached a point where they have outgrown their current staff and need more analysis, oversight and process improvement to help them yet don’t need a full-time resource. In either case, our Controllers can step in and ensure the books are closed timely, policies, procedures and controls are implemented, and thorough analysis and reporting is put into place to manage the business.
